Richard Bailey

Richard has been a photographer for over twenty years, more recently becoming well known for his animal portraits. His images have featured in many photography books and he has exhibited widely and won numerous awards.
For the last thirteen years, Richard has been curating the internationally touring photographic exhibition ‘Shifting Perspectives’, which is concerned with all aspects of Down’s syndrome.
Richard’s animal portraits are strong, witty and always engage the viewer. His personal projects include the book Darwin’s Pigeons and work around the theme of memory and loss.
He lives in London with his wife and three children.
